Slightly Mad Studios has announced a slight delay to this spring’s hyped sim-racing title, Project CARS.

The sim-racing title will now release on April 2 for the PC and April 7 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The slight delay is for the developers to make some “final adjustments” to the game.

“Moving the release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project Cars,” said Ian Bell, head of SMS. “But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April.”

This is the second delay that Project CARS has seen. It was originally tabbed for a November 2014 release, but was pushed back to March 2015 to get out of the jam-packed holiday lineup and to add some extra polish. A Wii U version is also in development, but has no release date tied to it.
