Star Citizen, the extremely anticipated space simulator by Cloud Imperium Games for PC, has surpassed another major crowdfunding milestone by hitting $70 million just two weeks after reaching $69 million just two weeks ago.

The unreleased title is already the most successful crowdfunded project with over 734,700 people having already contributed. Even with its financial accomplishments so far, Star Citizen has a ways to go according to Cloud Imperium’s founder Chris Roberts in past interviews who envisions the campaign raising $100 million one day.

Along with announcing the latest milestone hit, the developer also released version 1.01 of Arena Commander, Star Citizen’s multiplayer focused aspect that pits players against one another in battles across a multitude of modes. You can check out the latest trailer for Arena Commander below.
