Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have hit the UK hard by over-debuting Pokemon X and Y by 17 percent, making it Pokemon’s biggest launch in UK chart’s history. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire hit 3 million sales in 3 days just ahead of last week’s launch in Britain, after beating DS titles Pokemon Black and White making the country’s Pokemon record. Both games had landed in sixth and seventh place in the current week’s charts, but combined they’d have reached third.
The rest of the top ten had been a case of top-selling frenzy and rather underwhelming exclusive debuts. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare took the number 1 spot back from Grand Theft Auto 5 which fell into third place with FIFA 15 in second.
November 28th wasn’t very extravagant despite the popularity of two titles, however. After it’s debut on the WiiU, Super Smash Bros only reached 13th place while LittleBigPlanet 3 came in much lower at 18th. By the 29th, the UK software sales top ten looked like this:

1. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
2. FIFA 15
3. Grand Theft Auto 5
4. Far Cry 4
5. Assassin’s Creed: Unity
6. Pokemon Omega Ruby
7. Pokemon Alpha Sapphire
8. Driveblub
9. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag
10. Minecraft: Xbox Edition
