It really has been a good year in games, several companies have been reporting profit growth and Bandai Namco is on that list.

The company has announced that the net income for the first half of fiscal year has brought in $184,000, increasing the year over year by 8.5 percent and net sales hit $2.2 million which is an increase of 13.5 percent. Operating income increased by 20.8 percent and recurring income increased by 16.9 percent.

The growth for the company stems from the success of games shipped. The company shipped 50 games in Japan which moved 2.6 million units, 18 games shipped in the US with 2.8 million units.

With the holiday season fast approaching we will also be seeing a spike in sales for companies across the board.
