Video game retailer GameStop will be hosting a midnight launch for the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. tonight at over 2,000 of its United States locations. This is a great surprise as nearly all Nintendo releases are unable to have midnight launches.

You can attend one of these launch parties at one of the participating stores to be one of the first gamers to get your hands on a copy of Super Smash Bros. in its debut to a portable device. Enjoy the giveaways and tournaments while enjoying a little snack.

As another gift to fans, GameStop has announced that anyone who comes to the midnight launch to pick up a copy of Super Smash Bros. will be able to buy the games e-guide for just two dollars. Normally the guide sells for ten dollars.

The Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. will be launching sometime this holiday season, potentially on November the 11th according to rumors. Of course you might not have to wait that long to play Super Smash Bros. on the Wii U, as Nintendo has just recently announced plans to bring a nationwide college football stadium tour.
