Today Gearbox Software president, Randy Pitchford, has announced that Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has gone gold! The game has been fully developed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

In this game players will be able to explore Pandora’s Moon, a location gamers have been wanting to play for a long time. While the game feels like a smaller title, Take-Two promises that this is a full blown, AAA title.

The game is scheduled to release on October 14 in North America, October 16 in Australia and on October 17 in Europe. The game is exclusive to the previous gen consoles, when asked if the game will be making it’s way to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 Take-Two president, Karl Slatoff said there were a number of factors regarding why the game is previous gen only- mostly time and money.
