Fans of the Alien franchise will be happy to hear that the cast of the classic Sci-Fi film Alien(19179) will return to the franchise for a pre-order DLC incentive for Alien: Isolation. Sigourney Weaver will reprise her role as Ellen Ripley in the DLC that takes place of over the course of two mission set during the events of Alien. Tom Skerritt and Yaphet Kotto both return as Captain Dallas and Parker. Both, characters will also be playable in the module, “Crew Expanded.” Each character will have a different perspective on events . and have their own character load out. Harry Dean Stanton also returns as Brett who is not playable. The only cast member to not appear in the game is The Hobbit and Sherlock star, Ian Holm. The second mission focuses solely on Ripley during the films’ climax as the player must guide her through the Nostromo while activating the ships’ self-destruct sequence. Creative Assembly went to great lengths to depict Alien: Isolation in the low-sci-fi style of the original film. So far, the story of Alien: Isolation is set 15 years after the events of Alien and follows Ellen Ripley’s daughter as she sets out to investigate the disappearance of her mother. Alien: Isolation is due for release on the Playsation 3, Playstation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Source
