Microsoft has released a PC driver for the Xbox One controller, so now PC users can play their games with the Xbox One controller instead of the Xbox 360 one. They are available at the moment for the Major Nelson PC gamers, but the driver will soon be available as a Windows update.

“We can’t wait for them to play their favorite PC games with what we consider the best controller ever made and we’re excited for fans to experience the improved D-pad, redesigned battery compartment, new comfortable design and offset analog sticks,” the blog post says from Major Nelson’s website.

For this new compatability, there’s just a quick download of the driver and hook up of the Xbox One controller through a USB cord and gamers will be on their way to playing  both the old and new games developers have to offer.
