3000 fans are being invited to watch Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. E3 tournament in LA next month. The event will be streamed live on Twitch, and if you get up early enough you’ll be able to catch a few glimpses of the melee action.

It will start at 9:30AM on June 10th on a first come first served basis with Nintendo passing out 3000 invitations. Nintendo is requesting that no one pack up their sleeping bags and wait it out however. But once the doors open for these lucky 3000 at around 2:30PM, the tournament can begin at 4:00PM.

As an added interest, Nintendo is actually incentivising cosplay. Those who dress up for the even as the characters may be sent to the front of the audience for exposure. You can go straight from your toga party to the event and all you need is to slap on a pair of wings.

Strangely enough, this 2014 E3 conference is the second time that Nintendo hasn’t come with a live presentation prepared, instead chosing to come with a Nintendo Direct broadcast. Of course Super Smash Bros. is one of the scheduled presentations, with perhaps more finalized dates for the 3DS and Wii U rather then the current summer and winter stamps.
