4A games, the developer of the Metro series, took to Vine today to tease a Metro appearance on the PS4. The short video shows small portions of gameplay, the Dualshock 4 controller, and the PS4 cross media bar with a portion of the Metro tile.

Prior to this video release, information was leaked about something called Metro Redux, which would be a pack that includes Metro 2033 and Last Light for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. When publisher Deep Silver was asked about Redux at the time of the leak, they confirmed that it is real and it was happening soon.

“Is Metro Redux real? Yes. We never made any secret of 4A’s desire to bring Metro to the latest generation of console hardware. But what you saw leaked was taken from an old, internal planning presentation, containing some nuggets of truth but a lot of hypothetical ideas and place holder material.”

The new Vine video wasn’t accompanied by any kind of text or description other than this little quote, Are you ready? Because we really, nearly are… [MATURE],” so there is no indication yet if Redux will come packaged with the DLC for both games or if new features will be added to accompany the next gen release.

Are you excited to see the Metro series come to the next generation consoles?
