Ubisoft Motion Pictures and New Regency films are going back to the drawing board again on the Assassin’s Creed movie. The studio has decided to bring in veteran screenwriters Adam Cooper and Bill Collage to help re-write the video game movie adaptation.

Collage and Cooper will attempt to tackle a script that has already seen 2 other writers come and go. The first writer was British playwright Michael Lesslie, and after him came Academy Award nominee Scott Frank. It is now up to Collage and Cooper to please to studio execs and get this project off the ground. If they are successful in their quest, the next step for the Assassin’s Creed movie will be to find a director, cast, aside from star Michael Fassbender, and pretty much everything else that is needed for a major motion picture.
