Disrupter Beam, the developer behind the hit Facebook and Kongregate game, Game Of Thrones Ascent,  based on George R.R. Martin’s series, Game of Thrones, has announced that the game will soon see a release on both iOS and Android devices. The game will be released first on iOS platforms, with the Android version coming shortly after.

The game, much like the book series and the show, has become quite popular. Around 2 million players played the Ascent on Facebook in 2013, and it became one of the most popular games of the year on Kongregate.

Jon Radoff, both the founder and CEO of Disruptor Beam, said, “Since the early stages of the game’s development, our intention was always to release Game of Thrones Ascent on mobile devices.” He continued by saying, “We are excited to be bringing the game to mobile players. That’s what we’ve seen first-hand with Kongregate, and why we are excited about partnering with them for our mobile release.”

The game is slated for release in early Spring of this year.
