Earlier this week we reported a story about the upcoming title Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and the length of the game. The title is said to be about 2 hours in length, which many thought was an incredibly short game and this caused a lot of concern and conversation about the state of the title.

Yesterday, however, Hideo Kojima, the director for Metal Gear Solid released a statement on his official Twitter account about the concerns many are having about the game.

According to the tweet, the game is taking a different approach than the original linear style is has in the past. Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is aimed at creating an experience that is more in depth and gives the player opportunities to play side missions and ranked games in addition to the main story. Overall the game time necessary to complete all aspects of the game is more than two hours and will give players an experience worth the price.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes is scheduled to release on March 18 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
