Ubisoft recently sent out a survey form to some of their fans about to their wildly popular Assassin’s Creed series and possibly a new game that isn’t connected to the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

The survey asked gamers what they would like to see in the next Assassin’s Creed game, ie: a modern day hero, new gameplay mechanics, and other possible historical settings, but the survey wasn’t completely about Assassin’s Creed. Further down the line, Ubisfot asked users how they would feel about a pirate game that isn’t connected to the Assassin’s Creed series. This new game could feature a fully customizable pirate main character, as well as customizable ships, hideouts, and a more in depth economy. Ubisoft further implied that the game could feature PvP and cooperative naval ship battles.

So, what do you think about Ubisoft’s idea for a stand alone pirate game? Would you be interested in sailing the high seas if the game isn’t under the Assassin’s Creed banner?
