According to a recent report, Microsoft may be getting ready to release its own version of Apple’s Siri on PC, Xbox One and Windows mobile devices.

The project first made an appearance back in June in images of an early Windows phone build. The software, named Cortana after Master Chief’s AI sidekick, is planned to replace the current TellMe service.

Cortana will integrate Bing technology with TellMe’s speech recognition and social graph data and is expected to release with the new Windows phone build early 2014.
