Sony has confirmed, via a series of tweets from president Shuhei Yoshida, that Playstation 4 users will not be required to subscribe to Playstation Plus to record and stream gameplay. The services will be available to all console owners.

This news follows Microsoft’s announcement that Xbox One’s DVR would be an Xbox Live Gold exclusive feature.
