Sixsense Entertainment is making a wireless motion controller and a development kit that will support the Oculus Rift.

Sixsense is best known for developing the move controls for Portal 2 on the Playstation 3 and the Razer Hydra motion controller. The new development kit will be compatible with all content created for the Razer Hyrda and will support 3 wireless motion controllers and comes with “fully playable controllers.”

“We’re excited to finally provide a wireless solution that addresses the needs of both consumers and developers,” Sixense co-founder Amir Rubin said. “The ecosystem around gaming and virtual reality has grown dramatically, making now the perfect time to announce our new consumer product and direct-to-developer dev kits.”

Consumer controllers will release after the development kits are released. No price point has been announced yet, but the announcement is forthcoming. You can see a video that gives more information on Sixsense and it’s work with Intel to create a controller-free experience for Portal 2 below.
