A report yesterday at Batman-news.com has stated that Kevin Conroy, the voice that we all grew up with as Batman in both Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League. As well the recently released Injustice: God’s Among Us. The site reports that in the May issue of NAG magazine WB Games Montreal wants a younger actor to take up the role for game that will show Batman’s early years as the Dark Knight. Who this person may be has yet to be announced.

Being a big fan of Batman myself this is a bit disappointing to hear, especially after missing out on both Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor and Mark Hamill as The Joker in Injustice: Gods Among Us. The performances by the new actors were good. Still, I did find my feeling a bit nostalgic for days past wanting to hear the voices that brought some of DC Comics most iconic characters to life. I’m positive that WB Games will find a good replacement for Mr.Conroy but he will have some big shoes to fill, let us hope he will be up to the task.
