In another major partnership announced today (3/5/19), the NBA 2K League has added Raynor Gaming as its official chair partner. Tonight Raynor will actually be showing off the league-branded chairs at the League’s player draft. For those that don’t know how this works, it pretty much mimics the format as the NBA’s college draft.

Raynor was actually already a partner for the 76ers’ and Cavaliers’ NBA 2K teams, however, now, the brand will now provide all team training rooms with chairs. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Looking Crisp!

With the start of NBA 2K League’s second season, Raynor Gaming will be joining another 8 partners; the three new partners of AT&T, Champion Athleticwear, and Facebook and the league’s existing partners Dell, Intel, New Era, Scuf Gaming, and Twitch .

Not only has the NBA 2K League increased the number of partners, they also managed to sign on a few more teams; Actually, twenty-one altogether. The Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Atlanta Hawks, and Brooklyn Nets all now have signed players into the league.

The league also recently announced that it would increase the prize pool for this season, while not by much the jump from $1.2M USD up from $1M for the inaugural season is nothing to sneeze at.

In the official Press release, both companies seemed to be happy with the deal. Marc Fries, President of The Raynor Group said,

“We are excited to join forces with the NBA 2K League. With their commitment to excellence in all areas of the game, and our passion to create best-in-class gaming chairs, they are the perfect partner for our company.”

NBA 2K League Managing Director Brendan Donohue stated:

“Raynor Gaming is an industry standout whose dedication to providing the best gamers in the world with the most advanced gaming chairs on the market makes them an ideal fit for the NBA 2K League.”

Congratulations to Raynor Gaming on joining the NBA 2K Leagues group of partners! Don’t miss the all the action of the 2019 NBA 2K League Draft tonight, March 5th, at 5 p.m. ET. It will be live-streamed on the league’s Twitch channel.
