Fortnite was one month shy of a year as the most-watched game on Twitch, but then Apex Legends came and ruined everything. Respawn’s battle royale took the coveted title of the most-watched game on Twitch in February.

GitHyp is reporting that Apex Legend’s peak of 670 thousand viewers pushed Fortnite to the third spot for the month. However, Fortnite is now in the second spot on Twitch with 394 thousand viewers at the time of writing. Apex Legends is currently third with 219 thousand viewers.

Apex Legends destroyed Fortnite during its first week on the streaming platform. 11 million more hours were watched in the days following its launch. The game already has more than 50 millions players. The most recent concurrent player count hasn’t been released by Respawn, however.

This shouldn’t come as a surprised seeing that Apex Legends quickly rose in player count, easily reaching 50 million unique players within its first month. But with many players there are going to be cheaters, fortunately, Apex Legends’ player base is getting cleaned out already with over 355 thousand cheaters on PC have already been banned.

The Battle Pass is coming on March 12 and will include the leaked Legend Octane. Apex Legends is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
