Without a doubt many already assumed that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would be a success. Both fans and critics have been clamoring for this title and the sales numbers reflect that demand, with 3 million copies sold.

This makes Super Smash Bros. Ultimate the fastest selling game in the series.

According to the NPD Group Nintendo has sold over 8.7 million Nintendo Switch units from March 2017 and November 2018, which isn’t surprising.  The system has a steady stream of games ranging from both indies and triple-a titles that has kept gamers busy for months.
