During The Game Awards the next installment into the Mortal Kombat series was announced as Mortal Kombat 11. 

Announced by series creator Ed Boon Mortal Kombat 11 brought some bone crushing excitement in the announcement trailer in true Mortal Kombat fashion. Set to 21savage the trailer debuted new and returning fighters along with vivid graphics. Mortal Kombat 11 is set to release on April 23, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Pre-orders for the game are available via GameStop and Steam.
