Since the announcement that PlayStation Experience would not be happening this year Greg Miller, co-founder of Kinda Funny, decided to host their own show and the showcase has attracted lots of developers and publishers. With over 60 games confirmed for the showcase.

The announcement came through Twitter with developers Sega, Humble Bundle, Futurlab, Devolver Digital, Bithell Games, Outer Loop, Kitfox Games, and Drinkbox Studios confirmed to attend.

Greg Miller released a statement regarding the show.

“I’ve always loved how Geoff’s Game Awards dovetail with PlayStation’s PSX. The Game Awards take care of all the huge news, announcements, and trailers, and then PSX offers a lower key, fan/dev-focused event where other — often smaller — games can shine. With it taking 2018 off, we thought it would be a great opportunity to take it upon ourselves to offer game makers a platform to celebrate their work.”

The stream will last more than an hour and will happen on Saturday, December 8th at 1pm EST. Those not attending can watch the show on the Kinda Funny Twitch channel.
