Remember CTR: Crash Team Racing, the charming Crash Bandicoot kart racer from the PS1-era? Well, rumors from Eurogamer suggest that CTR: Crash Team Racing going to make a comeback at The Game Awards 2018 this week. There’s a few hints from Activision themselves. The first is a new post on their Crash social media pages, referring to the date of this year’s Game Awards. As for the second major hint, the Crash Facebook page has also changed its cover photo into a checkered racing flag. Activision also sent out various messages and goodies to influencers. PlayStation Access’s Hollie Bennet notably received some orange fuzzy dice with the message, “Sliding into The Game Awards on 6/12.” Well, you probably won’t need to think too hard about what Activision seems to be hinting at with these clues, do you? Something big is coming, and you can bet it’s going to happen at The Game Awards. Make sure to keep an eye out for a major Crash reveal during The Game Awards 2018, which start 5:30pm PT and 8:30pm ET, Personally, we’re very excited to see CTR: Crash Team Racing make a comeback. If it’s handled with the amount of care put into the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy or the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, you can be sure that it’s going to feel and look great. Plus, it offers some cool unique features that other major kart racers still don’t, like its 1P adventure mode.
