A few months back, it was announced that the Detective Pikachu movie would have Pikachu actually talk, the internet was buzzing with threats of boycotting and furious nerds abound.  Now, today (Nov. 12th) Warner Bros. released the first trailer to Detective Pikachu and it has mostly been widely received with 76k likes on youtube already. If you missed it, check it out below.

We start off in Ryme City, home of the Pokémon Carnival, where we find out that one lucky man has been gifted with talking to Pokémon (why it wasn’t Ash who has been training for 30 years now is irrelevant)! So Tim, after his father dies mysteriously, is set on a course of adventure with Pikachu to try and solve that mystery.

The trailer is a wonderful mix of amazing looking Pokémon and the voice of that sweet angel Ryan Reynolds. While the trailer is interesting and wonderful we will all have to wait until May 11th, 2019 for Detective Pikachu. What do you think about the trailer? tell us in the comments below.
