At long last, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links players are able to rev it up and kick things into hyperdrive, because the popular mobile game’s latest update has added characters and cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s era.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links first launched in Japan in November of 2016 before receiving a worldwide release the following January. The game features a simplified version of the popular, real-life Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game and initially allowed players to duel as their favorite characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime.

Around this time last year, a major update added cards and characters from the spinoff series Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, as well as placed an emphasis on Fusion summoning.

Now, the next spinoff in the Yu-Gi-Oh! chronology, 5D’s, has been added to the game as well. Players can now unlock and take control of some of the show’s most popular characters, including Yusei Fudo, Jack Atlas, Akiza Izinski, Crow Hogan, Leo and Luna.

More importantly, as far as actual gameplay goes, players can also now expand their arsenal with Synchro monsters (and, by extension, Tuner monsters.)

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links is currently available for Android, iOS and PC.
