Last week, Nintendo announced a Nintendo Direct for September 6, which would feature a series of new announcements for Switch and 3DS. However, due to the sudden earthquake in Hokkaido, Nintendo decided it’d be best to postpone the Direct in light of the tragedy.

Now, the company has decided that it’s ready to show off the Direct. The newly decided date is this Thursday, September 13th. You’ll be able to catch it at 3 PM PT/6 PM ET on their official page.

The presentation will be approximately 35 minutes long. It will feature titles for both the Switch and 3DS, and it’ll also provide details about the Nintendo Switch online subscription service.

It’s worth noting that numerous announcements related to the Switch went live on the original date the Direct was intended for, including the Civilization VI port and Mega Man 11 demo. We think that perhaps, all announcements were meant as surprises in the Nintendo Direct. While we’re not sure how Nintendo will now address these in the presentation, we’re sure Nintendo has more surprises in the bag during this Nintendo Direct.
