Sony has rolled out yet another update for PlayStation 4, this one apparently is about “system software stability during use of some features has been improved”, according to Sony’s support page. Besides that, details are scarce on exactly what this new update fixes. Since Sony released the 2.0 update a few weeks back the console has been having some trouble. A bug that would not allow consoles to boot back up after entering rest mode was widely reported. No numbers yet have emerged on exactly how many consoles were affected. Sony has been quick in stomping the bug and others before the holiday sales drive begins. The PlayStation 4 has so far been beating the Xbox One handily in month-by-month sales figures. The recent update troubles are the first stumble Sony has taken thus far with the PlayStation 4.
